Original Works
Some piano improvisations have turned into their own pieces. Finished pieces, where I have written sheet music for are:
- Perfectly Superficial
- Spiral Waves
Perfectly Superficial, was originally inspired by the Black Mirror episode Nosedive.
Piano
I took over 12 years of piano lessons in my childhood, receiving training in both classical and modern music. Now, I enjoy playing along with pop and rock songs, as well as performing neoclassical minimalist pieces. I’ve also taught myself to improvise in this style, which has led to a few distinct compositions.
Some pieces i like to play:
- Canon in D, Pachelbel
- Passacaille, Händel
- Winter I, Vivaldi
- November, Wolfgang Fuchs
- Tu Sei, Ludovico Einaudi
- Porz Goret, Yann Tieren
- All of Me, Jon Schmidt
Guitar
At some point, I started picking up the guitar more and more often, have now been taking lessons since 2024 to improve my skills. Here, I focus on styles that are new to me, especially bossa nova, blues, jazz. Of course, I’ve also tried my hand at rock and for example transcribed “Sometimes I Feel Like Screaming” by Deep Purple.
Some pieces i like to play:
- Manhã de Carnaval, Luiz Bonfá
- Blue Bossa, Kenny Dorham
- Bossa-Nove Breeze & Etude, Gerald Schwertberger
- Etude No. 6, Leo Brouwer
- Nothing Else Matters, Metallica
- Sometimes I Feel Like Screaming, Deep Purple
